Albany - Survivors of domestic violence fleeing their batterers can now cancel multiyear cable contracts without paying cancellation fees in New York.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo this week approved legislation waiving cancellation fees on multi-year cable and satellite packages for victims of domestic violence.
