We recently were given a CMC DataStar 7910D handheld telecom computer from about 1990 and now hope to find operating, programming and maintenance info for it.
The firmware status screen shows: s/n (not set) revlevel 1.31 memory 1024k, 128 total pages pages 8-127 allocated to FMS
I tried using conventional serial protocols like X/Y/Zmodem and Kermit with the upload/download functions without success. Does anyone have info on the serial file transfer protocol?
Anything would help, even old sales literature (and a working email address for someone at CMC (gotocmc.com).
