MASON CITY, Iowa (KTTC) - October 17 - The Cerro Gordo Sheriff's office is reporting a 911 outage in rural parts of the county.
The office says it was notified of the problem affecting landline phones by Frontier Communications. The company estimates the outage will last until 10 p.m. Thursday. It did not specify exactly what the issue is.
