Disconnecting Phones and Tumors

Good news for cellphone users: a new study published in the April issue of the journal Neurology shows no connection between cellphone use and the risk of developing a brain tumor.

A Danish survey of 427 people with brain tumors and 822 with no tumors found no difference in their frequency of cellphone use or the number of years they had used a cellphone. In addition, in the patients who had brain tumors, there was no correlation between the location of the lesion and the side of the head they usually used for talking on the phone.
