CenturyLink phone service restored after outage in Carteret Co. [telecom]

A CenturyLink outage in Carteret County (NC) is impacting telephone use Thursday (Oct 19) afternoon, according to the Cartetet County Sheriff's Office.

Nick Wilson, Public Information Officer with the sheriff's office, said in an email they have confirmed through CenturyLink about the outage involving its landlines. He said technicians are working to resolve the issue and will let everyone know when service is restored.
