Whats the easiest way to turn 3 - 500 watt 120VAC Halogen floods on from the DVR motion detection outputs? Is their a 12 volt low draw activated relay rated for what I'm doing? Thanks Dave Remove the 2 to respond directly

Check our Potter & Blommfield, your rating as per your info would be in the area of 12.5Amps, not factoring current surge. Though I don't think you are approaching this is the proper manner, if you have a fair amount of activity turning these lites on and off will increase your power requirments, Best to get a good Halogen/Helium/Mercury vapor and have it set on a day/night optical sensor. power consumption would be almost the same with the added benifit of a lighted area.
Thanks for the response, The DVR cameras are in a fenced in area so I don't think the activity will be low. On the other hand a well lit area will discourage anyone from entering it in the first place. So my approach is probably wrong for starters. Dave Remove the 2 for direct reply
