Optivity question

Does anyone knows what are the differences between the Optivity NMS and the Optivity Switch Manager? From the documentation it seems that there are a lot of redundancies among this two products.

Thank you.

Two entirely different products. OSM ONLY manages Nortel switches. Optivity is a full feature Network management tool for Nortel network equipment(switches,routers,vpn,telecom,wan,lan,man,3rd party equipment). Having said that, the learning curve is VERY steep to manage equipment. A training course would be a great way to start. It's a client/server based product;so get a good box for the server.
