I am ready to but a Sony DAV FX500 5.1 system. It will perform very well in our medium sized room. However, the two front left and right speakers are tall (4 inches x 30 inches approximately) and I am having trouble fitting them neatly regarding furniture, etc.
I have a Bose Lifestyle 5 that I am retiring that has two twin tweeters. Would I be able to use these in place of the two Sony 'tower' front speakers satisfactorily? These twins would sit on top of a audio console where the TV is presently located. This would be in regards to impedance, and other things I do not know about.
