[Q] Can I use 230V/50Hz X10 Modules to 220V/60Hz country? open original image

I'm in South Korea. In my country, the power line is 220V/60Hz.

So, I want to use X10 Europe modules (230V/50Hz). I know X10 voltage tolerance is +- 10%. so, the voltage is not problem. My question is the frequency.

Is "50Hz vs 60Hz" matter? Can I use X10 Europe(230V/50Hz) module in my country?

Please let me know. thanks.

The answer is yes, if you have a single-phase house installation. Same reason why 60 Hz equipment from the USA works fine in 50 Hz European installation (after modifying for diffence in voltage ofcourse) Hans,
