I'm writing a final work to receive the Master of Science title at AGH
- University of Science and Technology, Cracow, Poland. I'm writing about security provided by operating system build-in firewalls. Do you know (or have) some materials about system firewalls comparison? I'm especially interested in complex tests of the firewalls.
The list of firewalls I'm planning to write about:
- Windows XP SP2 Firewall
- Windows Vista Firewall
- Mac OS X Leopard Firewall
- Linux iptables
- BSD IPFilter and/or ipfirewall
The internet is full of studies and comparisons (like "Firewall Chellenge" on Matousec.com) but I don't know any of the cross-platform firewall tests...
