I installed Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition v8.1 Server on Windows
2003 Server and by default it created a scheduled scan for every Sunday at midnight. This is a locked scan and I am not able to edit/delete or add a new task. Is there a way to do this?Any suggestions?
Sure, you just have to be logged into the AV console as the AV administrator. Check the Security Center and see if the CENTER has a job scheduled. There are two places to schedule Scans, one is the security center and the other is the client interface.
If I were you I would get the update to 9 and install it instead of 8.1 - unless you're running SBE 8.1.
