Need to open a port on a Digital Firewall

hello, I had Zone Alarm - Free version. That was fine, now i need a firewall that i can open RDC port 3389 on. I understand that this can only be done in Zone Alarm Premium. Before i purchase this i wanted to see if there are any free digital firewalls that can do what i need to, and if there are any better products avaliable. thanks
