Hi I have a PIX 6.1 with the following configuration (not shown fully)
access-list incoming permit gre any any access-list outgoing permit gre any any
global (outside) 1 209.178.198.252-209.178.198.254 global (outside) 1 209.178.198.247
nat (inside) 0 access-list nonat nat (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 0 0
I am trying to connect to a VPN server on 24.73.218.218. When a host in the inside network is assigned by PIX the IP 209.178.198.247 (as verified at dnsstuff.com) the VPN is denied. Whereas a host inside the network is assigned by PIX
209.178.198.252 thru 254 the VPN is successful.How can I configure PIX to not assign 209.178.198.247 to a host? Is there a better solution?
I have been raking my head all week. I'd be grateful if Walter or someone could kindly answer.
