VPN log - Received Unexpected InitialContact Notify (PLMgrNotify:886)

We've several IBM Thinkpad T42 (centrino) laptops VPN into our corporate network via a particular WIFI hotspot. We're getting randomly, a few laptops would refuse to successfully get through the VPN. When this problem crops up, WIFI access is fine (as in able to browse the internet). In the mean time, it's business as usual for the other laptops that are not affected. After leaving the troubled laptop for about a day, the VPN connection will come back up again (without anything done on it).

All the laptops are identical and similarly configured (image cloned). When I analysed the VPN log, I realised whenever the VPN won't connect, there'll be a line as follows:

27 18:16:52.934 04/19/05 Sev=Warning/2 IKE/0xA3000067 Received Unexpected InitialContact Notify (PLMgrNotify:886)

Status on the VPN client window is: "Contacting the security gateway at A.B.C.D......."

We're using PIX515E version 6.3.3
