I received a project of a network that needs upgrading.
The previous network admin, have made one single catalyst router for the entire network.
In the upgrade I would like to change this router task with HRSP for better redundancy, however I would like to avoid downtime for the network.
Could I make HRSP standby address the same as the catalyst's current Interface address, and then afterwards change the interface address and avoid downtime for the network?
