SNMP security access violation from 1760

Hi,

The event log on one of our switch has been flooded with "SNMP security access violation from X.X.X.X (the IP address of our Cisco

1760 router). I checked the other switches and they are not getting this message on the event log. So it doesn't look like the Cisco router is scanning the network. I am not real familiar with Cisco equipment but I've gone into the web interface of the router but could not find anything that reference to the switch's IP address. Does anyone know what is causing the router to try to access the switch? How can I fix this problem?

thanks in advance for your feedback
