I just overhualed an BGP internet config for a customer using four providers. I would like to perform an after hours test were I pull cables, shut peers, power off edge routers, etc. to test the failover.
My question is-should I be concerned about route dampening I have four tier three providers that don't do dampening but there upstreams - XO, GX, Level 3, QWEST may. Research tells me that they don't.
Should I be concerned?
