I just upgraded from 6.3(3) and can't get pptp out through PAT. I have tried fixup protocol pptp 1723 (it gets converted to inspect pptp) and it doesn't work. then I tried :
hostname(config)# class-map pptp-port hostname(config-cmap)# match port tcp eq 1723 hostname(config-cmap)# exit hostname(config)# policy-map pptp_policy hostname(config-pmap)# class pptp-port hostname(config-pmap-c)# inspect pptp hostname(config-pmap-c)# exit hostname(config)# service-policy pptp_policy global
and it still doesn't work. Next i tried adding rule that that would allow incoming and outgoing gre but it didn't help.
Does anybody have any experience with pptp through PAT with this new PIX version?
