non-APS POS backup for ATM on 7200?

What techniques are people using to provide device redundancy and telco service redundancy for broadband circuit termination? I'm using a 7206 with a POS ATM port adapter to terminate customer broadband circuits. As the service is growing, I'm finding a need to have device redundancy for my 7206, as well as port redundancy for my device and my LEC's POS hand-off.

It would be helpful if there were some way to configure APS between a pair of 7206s, for a dual work/protect POS ATM hand-off from the LEC. Maybe that's overkill, since PPP-based DSL sessions carried by the ATM circuit would be reset. But even a simple function allowing fail-over would be useful.

Multi-router APS (MR-APS) is available on 6500, 7500 and GSR; not sure about 7206

I have used MR_APS on 6500.
