The NAT is working well on ASA. I'm able to connect from inside w/ a private address to all machines in the Internet by getting my source addresses nated. To dig a little in IPv6 I started to setup a tunnel from my workstation to 192.88.99.1. But the firewall will not nat this traffic. It is complaining w/ %ASA-3-305006: regular translation creation failed for protocol 41 src insi= de:10.1.2.3 dst outside:192.88.99.1 Any idea what has to be changed to make this working?

what sort of tunnel? if its an encrypted tunnel then nat won't work.. use an acl to make an exemption to not nat that traffic.

Flamer.
