Hello

Please help me with understanding the setup.

I have to use Microsoft XP VPN out from my location where i have a Cisco PIX 501.

I need to know what to setup. I have made the following:

access-list FROMOUTSIDETOINSIDE permit tcp any host ipoutside eq pptp access-list FROMOUTSIDETOINSIDE permit gre any host ipoutside static (inside, outside) tcp interface pptp vpnout pptp netmask

255.255.255.255 0 0

What did i wrong and/or what to do?

thanx in advance

Jacob

If you are running 6.3(4), then consider upgrading to 6.3(5) to avoid bug CSCef47155 - PPTP passthru fails after upgrading to 6.3.4

I am running version 6.3.(1)

6.3(1) has several known security issues. There are free upgrades available to 6.3(4), even if you do not have a support contract.
