The 5300 is EOL supported until the end of 2006, You are probably looking at an AS5400HPX universal gateway (648 ports max) or an AS5850 Universal Gateway (2688 ports max). Both that the Integrated Signaling System 7 (SS7) Signaling Link Terminal (SLT, not requireing an extra unit (PGW 2200)
Sounds like the AS5400HPX is perfectly tailored to your application.
Mr. Remaker, I appreciate your response in this matter. I was pretty sure that a new piece of equipment existed but we currently have 2 5300's and the
7206 that aren't really doing anything at the moment and we'd like to utilize them before buying another $60,000 piece of equipment. Do you think it is possible to use one of our 5300s or the 7206 for this DS3->VoIP project?Thank you for your time, Matthew
