I have a point to multipoint 802.1q trunk happening. I have a centeralized Cisco Catalyst 6500 using port 3/9 as a 802.1q trunk to a ASX-1200 marconi switch. I have a number of vlans added to the trunk & we have spvc's created for the vlans to drop to remote locations. We are currently using vlan 100 as the native vlan for the 802.1q trunk. On the far side of the trunks are 2950 switches running 802.1q into asx-200's.
