ASA 5505 vs 5510

I am trying to decide between the 5505 and 5510 Security Plus Bundle. We currently have a 515e that this would replace. Our current config includes a 3MBps symmetrical internet pipe, which has served us well to date. Besides web access and email, we have a web based application that has higher use during a three month period each year. This application is SSL encrypted and consists of a series of 5-10 clicks on pages weighing 15-40K each. There are 40,000 invitations to access the application over this three month period but useage can sometimes peak when a batch of 700 invitations are sent over a one hour period. The web server (in the DMZ)needs to communicate with the DB server in the internal network, the place where the greatest traffic is happening.

We have studied the specs and know that the 515e can handle this traffic acceptably... my question is.... if we select a 5510 over the

5505, will there be a noticeable improvement on responsiveness given the specs above or are the specs such as the ability to handle 300Mbps max through the firewall over the 150Mbps of the 5505 simply irrelevant since the internet feed is only 3Mbps and the port on the back of either firewall is only 100Mbps.

Thanks!
