alias command in ASA 7.22

Dec 08, 2006 0 Replies

alias (inside) command, used for doctoring the nslookups of inside hosts, that was working fine in 6.3 isn't in 7.22. The mapped address is on the dmz, the real address on the outside. The dns doctoring works, however a side effect is that hosts on the inside can't connect to the mapped address on the dmz. If I remove the alias command they can.

This is the only alias related bug I've found, but, it's documented as fixed in 7.22 and isn't clearly related.
