Good CCNA and CCDA books and sims

I just got my network+ cert and now want to get my CCNA and CCDA to start off on the cisco path. What are the best books to get for the two and are there any good simulators out there?

Sybex book is an easy read. Cisco press book has most complete material.

Most sims are not that great, some routers are cheaper.

Watch out for sims; if you never used a real router you may think you can work on a router when in fact you can only work on a sim.
