Extending an AP

I have a linksys wireless router downstairs and I want to extend the wireless signal to another part of the building because the signal is weak in that area. How should i got about doing thise, place an ap in that area and give it the same essid?

Yes, and different primary channel.

  1. Move the ap
  2. Replace the AP antenna with a higher gain antenna
