load-sharing in two ethernet port of a router

HI,

I have a new cisco 2821 and a HWIC-4ESW Card to form a three ethernet port Router; one port is connecting to LAN while the others are connecting two ISP Routers ( say the eth1 & WIC port );

How can I configure the 2821 to share the loading between the ISPs ? Once any line of the ISPs, all WAN traffic will go through the only left ISP line ?

Cheers

HSRP?

HSRP only works to load share if you are configureing one subset of hosts to go to on VIP and the other to go to to the VIP by a second HSRP group. Does not sound like it would be effective in this situation. If two ISP routers that you are using support GLBP then that would be accomplish your goal. GLBP works similar to HSRP (Creates a VIP for the gateway) but the routers will load share.

Take a look at Cisco doc "IOS NAT Load-balancing for Two ISP Connections"
