Just looking for rumours for ISDN and CCIE.
Is ISDN going to die soon, or do I still need to fork out for a simulator? I got through CCNP without one, but I'd want one for CCIE lab practise if its gonna be in there.

ISDN is going nowhere.
It isn't expanding*, and it certainly isn't dying.
There is no cheaper method of backing up a circuit than an ISDN line...

Kind of my last choice after after cable and sat for backup but completely correct, still run into ISDN every week it seems. Good thing is that simulators are much cheaper than 5 years ago and Ive been able to use them to help solve solve problems onsite once in a great while.
