Um - either you're just being silly or a troll or both ... either way get your facts straight ....
Comcast has two residential tiers - Silver and Gold.
Silver is 6 mbps down / 384 kbps up
Gold is 8 mbps down / 768 kbps up
Powerboost applies to both .... and is a download speed boost to 12 mbps for Silver and 16mbps for Gold when downloading small files.... typically on the first 20 mb of the file....and then it returns to normal speeds on longer / larger downloads.
See for yourself using various speed testing web sites
So - help me understand how you are getting ripped off?
He is right, Chuck. There have always been the Silver and Gold tiers. Over the past few years the speeds have been incrementally increased, but both tiers have always been there. As said also, Power Boost applies to both tiers -- has since they first implemented it. No false advertising or claims on their part.
CIAO!
