Anyone know anything about Charter Communications? Seems they just did alot of network upgrades in the St. Louis, MO area and are seeing an interesting issue.
When I use USB from their modem, I get a DHCP IP address 192.168.100.x temporarily, then a real IP address.
When I use Ethernet from their modem, I cannot get a DHCP address at all.
When I unplug the coax from the modem, I get a DHCP address
192.168.100.x but, of course, no real IP address.Anyone have any input?
