Hi everyone!
I'm using a 510i Alcatel Ethernet Modem, configured as a modem router (that is, it's doing the dial-in to my ISP for itself and assigns the official ip adress to the wan interface).
The problem is that I cannot ping the modem from anywhere on the net. I know that i have to configure
'create rule chain=sink index=X prot=icmp icmptype=echo-request action=acceept' asf.
which I've done, nevertheless no ping. I also tried
'ip config firewalling off'
with the same effect. Really stuck on this.
