Where is the typical IMEI stored in a typical cellphone?

But, I'm trying to find where the IMEI is stored on a Motorola RAZR.

To make matters more complicated, this thread implies there are TWO IMEI numbers, one called the "Display IMEI" (aka "Ordinary IMEI) and the other is called the "Original IMEI".

The IMEI is stored in a flash-memory chip and is trivial to change and is often changed for privacy reasons.

You simply need the freeware program that modifies the flash memory for your cell phone. I'll give you a hint. It starts with "I".
