For quite some time, I used a ZyXEL WAP3205 wireless repeater with a Westell 327W (provided by Verizon).
Recently, I switched to Comcast and bought a Netgear WNDR3700v4 and a Motorola SB6121. Everything that connects to the Netgear works fine.
However, I cannot figure out how to configure the Netgear ZyXEL so they function as repeater and base station (if that is the correct terminology).
The Z shows up in a list of APs (I'm using Wifi Analyzer on a Samsung Galaxy S3) but will not connect UNLESS I run an Ethernet cable from the Z to the Netgear!
Can anyone help?
Both devices have the same security/password, channel, and SSID.
