Kismet server 2006.04.R1 under Fedora Core 6 (FC6). Compiled from source.
Everything worked except when the client tried to come up and I got this FATAL. Solution for me was to edit /etc/hosts (which was initially only )
::1 localhost.localdomain localhost
And add the line:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
Now working fine.
