Of primary importance is the new low bit rate codec capability. Your applications will be able to communicate using any of the following codecs: uLaw, aLaw, G729/G729A, iLBC (20Ms and 30Ms frame size), 8k PCM, 11k PCM and 22k PCM.

Also, your Windows SIP/RTP VOIP development effort will be able to instantly inherit all the new impressive functionality the VOIP Media Engine brings to you.
