Passive Phase Shifter 900MHz

-------------------------------------

Hey guys,

I am wondering if it is possible to implement a passive phase shifter for a 900MHz square wave (binary data) signal. I will be using the double-pole double throw switch method whereby a time delay is introduced by switching in and out lines of different lengths. Is this possible considering the high harmonic content of the square wave as well as the high frequency?

Thanks

Michael Belperio

At UHFs, the usual is to use a coaxial 'line stretcher' which works like a trombone.
