I remember seeing that a lot of Verizon end offices in California were being upgraded from DMS switches to the new Nortel Succession Soft Switches. I was just curious to what the "Equipment Type" listing for these packet based switches looks like in LERG.
If its any help, I think "MTVRWAXXDS1" was the first of these Nortel Succession Soft Switches deployed by Verizon.
