Verizon Wireless experiencing network issues causing outages in N. Nevada & California

Verizon Wireless is currently experiencing network issues that are causing widespread outages throughout the Northern Nevada and California areas, according to a spokeswoman for the company.
More than 100 reports have been filed in the Reno area since 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, according to the company's outage site.
