Recent news and updates regarding the Verizon strike for this year

2016 has finally made some improvements. It stands out that a deal has finally been struck between the union workers and the tech carrier giant. Along that line, notions of the victory at the palm of the union workers hand arise.

The Verizon strike lasted a total of 6 weeks of strike. It also underwent 13 days of talks, along with the assistance from the government to put an end to the skirmish between Verizon and the union workers. Considered as one of the largest labor impasse and one of the biggest in the United Sates in recent history and both camps from the Verizon group and the two unions, Communications Workers of America (CWA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), that represent the close to 40,000 workers on strike have taken a significant major step to actually come up with a tentative resolution, reports Christian Post.
