Several threads have raised the issue of inexpensive long-distance plans. For many years I used a plan offered by reseller Capsule Communications, a division of Covista, that was about 3 cents per minute, with no monthly minimum and no fees, provided I did automatic payment and online billing. The service was excellent. I only discontinued when I switched my broadband and cable to Verizon FiOS and got a Verizon flat-rate plan as part of a triple play.
