Synacor's big deal with AT&T failed to meet its initial promise. Now the partnership is ending [telecom]

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Synacor Inc. leaders expected the deal with AT&T to dramatically change the size and scope of the Buffalo-based software company.

The three-year deal was announced in May 2016 and CEO Himesh Bhise projected the company would reach $300 million in revenue by 2019.
