Subscriber Pulse Metering (SPM) 12/16 kHz: pulse ramp-up and ramp-down time -- how long should it be? I have seen ramp times said to be in the 10 ms to 20 ms range. I have also heard about max. ramptime of 5 ms with an S-shaped ramp rather than a linear ramp (this supposedly for Switzerland, high metering pulse voltages). I would appreciate any further inforamtion on this subject.
