SporTran's main fiber line connecting the agencies' telephone system was cut Wednesday morning.
As a result, telephone service to all SporTran facilities, including LiftLine (paratransit), is still down, according to information provided in a press release on the matter.
AT&T and CenturyLink are said to be working to restore service as quickly as possible.
