I should not be surprised, but I am. An adware company figured out that they could do a man-in-the-middle attack on search queries, and insert pop-ups even for an https connection.



You (yes, *YOU*) need to think about where that leads. The odds are that functionally-equivalent software is already in the computer you use at work, but instead of popping up ads, it is reporting ALL your "secret" searches and "private" emails to your boss.
