No doubt about it. They were the most arrogant suits in town in the
1950s and 60s. Had they been able to reason objectively they would have never let Carterfone get out of hand.
Then again, their history from the late 1800s, on through WWII, made them feel they were more powerful than the U.S. Government or any mere private enterprise domestic corportation.
