FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Fort Worth police say residents and businesses in the Northwest Fort Worth area by Eagle Mountain Lake are unable to make 911 ladline calls due to a network issue.
Police say AT&T is currently working on this as fast as possible
Historical Note:
In the early 1960s, both the Bell System and General Telephone (Automatic Electric) developed emergency telephone reporting systems. This consisted of a network of street corner lift-to-talk phones and a special central switchboard.
