N.J. payroll firm ADP in data breach

ROSELAND, N.J. - Payroll services company Automatic Data Processing Inc. yesterday disclosed a data breach that it said apparently affects only one of its employer clients.

ADP said its security team discovered the intrusion during routine monitoring of its systems. The breach involved a client of Workscape, a benefits administration provider that ADP recently acquired. ADP did not identify the client, which was notified of the breach.
