Landline outage in Cook and Orr affecting 911 service
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office has been made aware of a fiber cut affecting landline phone service in the Cook and Orr areas. Anyone needing to call 911 from these communities should use a cell phone. VOIP service also is not affected by this issue.
Century Link is aware of the situation and is working on repairs.
