UPDATE: While T-Mobile may not have the Texas situation completely under control yet, its wireless service restoration efforts have already been deemed (partially) successful in Austin, where "some sites" are officially back online.
Other markets are expected to recover fairly soon, but in the meantime, customers are asked to try Wi-Fi calling technology instead of relying on traditional cellular connectivity (if possible), as well as keep calls to a "minimum and as short as possible" or send text messages instead of actually making calls where those services are working to reduce network load and congestion.
